Chronos Edge is currently in pre-production and available in limited quantities ahead of the upcoming crowdfunding campaign.

These systems use finalized production hardware, but portions of the software are still actively being refined and expanded through real-world field testing. Core functions are stable and operational, though occasional UI bugs or unfinished features may still appear during use.

I am offering these pre-production systems at a discounted rate in order to place them into active projects and continue refining the platform through real deployment feedback. Eight systems are already operating in the field.

More than a construction camera, the Edge is a remote cinematography platform built around real camera systems. It combines network connectivity, intelligent power management, and motion-control-ready architecture into a single integrated system for long-form visual work.

With support for DSLR and mirrorless cameras, remote monitoring, and automated offloading, the Edge is built to capture and deliver high-quality footage over extended periods without unnecessary complexity.

It is also designed as a growing ecosystem, with expansion in development including motion control accessories, environmental management such as lens heating, and additional tools to extend capability in the field.

The Edge connects directly to your network, or a 4G USB adapter, allowing you to monitor system status and offload images remotely without needing to access the device in person.

Files can be transferred automatically to Dropbox or FTP, with support for multiple upload sessions per day and flexible scheduling to match available bandwidth, power conditions, or project needs.

Status emails provide regular updates on system health and operation, while alert emails notify you of important events or issues in the field. Two-way communication via email allows you to send commands and update system settings remotely, without requiring a login or external interface.

The system can connect through standard WiFi networks, or in remote deployments, by using the EdgeLink module with a USB-connected 4G hotspot to maintain reliable communication in the field.
